picking up your order

When you place your order online you have the option of picking up your order at our Burnaby location. You may hold your order at our location for up to two (2) business weeks from the time of your order's completion.

delivery with your auction product

If you have fresh flowers and plants delivered to you from the auction, we can arrange to have your floral supplies order delivered with your auction product. When you place your order online or over the phone, just make sure to specify that your order is to be delivered with your fresh flowers, and we will make sure that they are shipped together.

Note: Please make sure you place your floral supplies order no later than the day before the auction so that there is sufficient time to prepare it for delivery.
Any additional shipping charges will be added to your fresh flower invoice.

metro vancouver deliveries

For our customers in the Metro Vancouver area, we offer an affordable, flat-fee delivery service.

Cost:
We charge a flat flee of $10 for any size order across Metro Vancouver,
shipped to commercial addresses only. Surcharges will apply to deliveries made to residential addresses. Please contact us for more information.


Delivery Times:
You can expect your order to arrive at your door before 5 P.M. the next business day, unless other arrangements have been made.

Note: For certain large orders we may need to arrange a special delivery day and time with you. If you have concerns with how your order will be delivered, please ask and we will be happy to work with you.


Method of Delivery:
We use a reliable local courier to deliver the majority of our orders.

For our customers outside of the Vancouver area, we offer a number of shipping options to get your order to you.


Cost:
We have a minimum charge of $10 for any order shipped outside the Vancouver area. On average, our shipping charges are 10% to 20% of your pre-tax invoice total but this will vary depending on the product you order, your location, and the speed with which you need your order.


Delivery Times:
Delivery times will vary depending on your location and the method of delivery being used. See the chart below for details on delivery times to your area.

Note: Delivery times are approximate, and are counted from the time you place your order until the time it arrives at your door. Times may be longer for locations outside of major centers.



Methods of Delivery:
Our preferred carriers are FedEx Ground and FedEx Express, but we also ship with carriers such as Greyhound, Dan Foss Couriers, Purolator, Clark Freightways, Pro Floral, and others.


Choosing your own Carrier
If you have a preferred carrier of your own that you would like your order shipped by, include the Carrier name and your account number in your order notes when you place your order and we will ship your order "collect" with that carrier.

pickup and delivery policies

Order Pickup Policies

  • Orders will be held for a maximum of 10 business days (two weeks) from the order date. After this time the order will be canceled and the product returned to stock.

  • All "COD" orders must be paid in full before all or any part of the order is removed from the premises. All orders must be signed for by the customer to confirm delivery before the order may be removed from the premises.

Metro Vancouver Delivery Policies

  • 12% HST will be applied to all listed and otherwise quoted rates.

  • All delivery times are approximate. Inclement weather, traffic, human error, and peak periods of operation may affect actual delivery time.

  • Any missing or damaged product must be reported to a customer service representative within five business days of receipt of shipment.

  • Appropriate attention will be given during packing to ensure the safe delivery of items deemed to be fragile. In the event of breakage of any of these items during transit, UFG Floral Supplies will be liable for no more than 50% of the replacement cost.

General Shipping Policies

  • The tax applicable to your province will be applied to all listed or otherwise quoted rates.

  • Residential deliveries may incur a residential delivery surcharge; rates will vary by carrier.

  • All delivery times are approximate. Inclement weather, traffic, human error, and peak periods of operation may affect actual delivery time. UFG Floral Supplies will not be liable for any consequences resulting from delayed shipments.

  • Appropriate attention will be given during packing to ensure the safe delivery of items deemed to be fragile. In the event of breakage of any of these items during transit, UFG Floral Supplies will be liable for no more than 50% of the replacement cost.

  • Any missing or damaged product must be reported to a customer service representative within five business days of receipt of shipment.

  • The customer is responsible for communicating all relevant shipping details at the time of ordering, including but not limited to: correct shipping address, residential delivery, hours of operation, and use of a power tailgate (for palletized deliveries where dock level loading or a forklift is unavailable). The customer will be responsible for all shipping surcharges applied after shipping that were not included in the original quote.

Product Returns

If you need to return product back to our location, please contact us and we will work with you to arrange the shipping for your return. Unless the reason for your return is related to an error committed by staff of UFG Floral Supplies, all return shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer, and a 15% Restocking Fee will be applied.
